Major construction at Exhibition station is now complete. The station will open temporarily for major events at the Brisbane Showgrounds before opening for year-round services in line with the start of trains through the new Cross River Rail tunnels, which is expected in 2029.

Temporary station openings to support travel to major events at the Brisbane Showgrounds will be communicated well in advance on the Translink website.
