Yeronga station is being rebuilt as part of Cross River Rail’s rolling station upgrades program.

Upgrading Yeronga station will improve accessibility for customers and enhance connections to Fairfield Road.

Current status

Yeronga station is now open to customers, however construction activities will be ongoing until early-2023 with station facilities opening in stages. Yeronga station is now accessible via three new lifts.

Yeronga station upgrades

As part of the Cross River Rail Project, Yeronga station will be rebuilt to improve access and functionality.

Station features

Features of the Yeronga station include:

  • An additional (third) platform
  • A new station building
  • An upgrade to the existing platforms
  • New overpass and vertical transport system including three lifts and stairs
  • Provision for accessible parking within the car park
  • Provision for Kiss ‘n’ Ride car parking
  • Improved access to the platforms.
