Construction Environmental Management Plan – Tunnel, Stations and Development (TSD)

The TSD Construction Environmental Management Plan (TSD CEMP) has been prepared in line with the Outline Environmental Management Plan (OEMP). This Plan provides site specific environmental management requirements associated with the Relevant Project Works for TSD package.

The TSD CEMP is based on detailed assessment of construction impacts and incorporates site specific mitigation measures to achieve environmental outcomes as identified in the OEMP. It also contains a program for ongoing monitoring to ensure the effectiveness of mitigation measures.

Construction Environmental Management Plan – Rail, Integration and Systems (RIS)

The RIS Construction Environmental Management Plan (RIS CEMP) has been prepared in line with the OEMP. This Plan provides site specific environmental management requirements associated with the Relevant Project Works for RIS package.

The RIS CEMP is based on detailed assessment of construction impacts and incorporates site specific mitigation measures to achieve environmental outcomes as identified in the OEMP. It also contains a program for ongoing monitoring to ensure the effectiveness of mitigation measures.

In accordance with Appendix 1, Part C, Condition 4 of the Coordinator-General’s change report, the CEMP has been endorsed by the Environmental Monitor and submitted to the Coordinator-General prior to the commencement of Relevant Project Works.

    Outline Environmental Management Plan

    The Cross River Rail Outline Environmental Management Plan (OEMP) provides the overarching framework for the project’s environmental management requirements.

    It identifies each environmental element potentially impacted during the project works and nominates the required performance criteria and outcomes to be achieved to ensure environmental impacts are minimised. The OEMP also nominates key monitoring and reporting requirements to be delivered throughout the life of the project.

    In accordance with Appendix 1, Part A, Condition 2 of the Coordinator-General’s change report, the OEMP is to be finalised and submitted to the Coordinator-General for approval two months prior to the commencement of Project Works. The OEMP was initially approved on 18 December 2018.
