The video starts with an aerial view of Brisbane and the rail alignment highlighted before zooming down to the Exhibition precinct. Travel times to the stations either side of Exhibition station, and walking routes to surrounding areas are displayed.
The camera then pans down and flies along the new station platform providing a view of the adjacent showgrounds.
The camera then moves from the platform level to a lower-ground concourse and exits the station to the RNA Showgrounds precinct. Turning 180 degrees there is a view of the station as the camera flies up to view the station with the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital precinct in the background.
The view rotates back around to the Showgrounds as the sun sets, night falls and fireworks light up the sky.
The new station will connect with Albion Station to the north, Cross River Rail stations in the CBD, Woolloongabba and Boggo Road to the south, providing local residents and visitors to the growing region with significant improvements to public transport.
