New Roma Street Station
With the addition of a new high-capacity underground station, Roma Street will become our State’s most significant transport interchange and Brisbane’s ‘Grand Central’, connecting passengers with the existing suburban bus and rail networks, as well as regional and interstate bus and train services.
The Brisbane Transit Centre has been demolished to make way for a new station plaza and entry point to all public transport services.

As a key link between the city centre, Roma Street Parklands, Spring Hill’s schools, Caxton Street, the Petrie Barracks, Suncorp Stadium, and the cultural precinct at South Bank, Cross River Rail’s new Roma Street Station will integrate all public transport connections for this city precinct.
