Current status
Pimpama station will open on Monday 20 October 2025.
There will be minor timetable changes for the Gold Coast line to accommodate the new stop at Pimpama.
To make it easy to get to the new station, there will be timetable and route changes for local buses, with a new bus stop within the station precinct.

Benefits for Pimpama
Pimpama station provides the local community with greater access to convenient rail services, expanding options for easy travel within the Gold Coast, as well as to Brisbane.
The new Pimpama station will be located along the Old Pacific Highway between Bedford Road and Mebbin Street.
