Return to top - The eastbound lane on Mary Street adjacent to the lot 1 worksite is closed until late 2026. The eastbound lane of Mary Street adjacent to the construction site is closed. Vehicles travelling eastbound cannot pass through the work area. Please see this works notice to learn more.
- Due to multiple construction sites in the Albert Street precinct area, Charlotte, Mary and George streets may experience congestion during peak hours

- From December 2025 until 2026, there will be changes to pedestrian routes on Albert Street between Charlotte and Elizabeth streets. - From mid-2025 until early 2026, the footpath in front of the northern station entrance (Lot 3) will be intermittently closed at night (6:30pm to 6:30am). Please see this works notice.
- Throughout construction there will be temporary pedestrian detours in place along Albert, Mary and Charlotte streets. Pedestrians are to follow signage and direction of traffic control to safely navigate through the area.

- A new signalised intersection will be constructed at the station entrace of Hope Island Road.
- Intersection works will continue intermittently until early-2026
- During these works two-way traffic will be maintained on Hope Island Road. Some localised construction impacts may include traffic control measures including lane closures and stop/slow traffic control.
- Sections of the footpath in Mangrove Jack Park will be restricted to enable construction of the future Hope Island station. Restrictions will be in place until construction is complete.
- The northern pedestrian path near the Hope Island Road roundabout is closed until late May 2025, pending weather and site conditions. During this time, the path on the opposite side of the road is open to accommodate pedestrian access.
- Pedestrian access and recreational use will be maintained in the unaffected areas, accessible via Hope Island Road and River Links Boulevard East.
- Intermittent daily and nightly single lane closures, speed reductions and short-term delays will be in place on Gooding Drive in both directions, between Ghilgai Road and Bourton Road.
- Traffic management and road signage will be in place to assist direct motorists.
- Ongoing intermittent parking changes on local roads.
- From mid-January, a section of the northern pedestrian and cyclist path on Gooding Drive will be temporarily closed. Pedestrians and cyclists will be detoured via the southern path.
- Ongoing temporary changes to pedestrian access and movements around Gooding Drive (both directions) and Entry Drive, in place until project completion.
- There will be temporary intermittent single lane closures and traffic holds on Ipswich Road near the station entry during night shifts for delivery of large plant and equipment
- From 30 March the Moorooka station commuter carpark located between Keats and Chaucer Street will be closed.
- Moorooka station is now closed until late-2027.
- Throughout the station closure, the high frequency StationLink route 19 will be available from Ipswich Road, along with other local bus services.
- If you prefer to continue to travel by train, Yeerongpilly and Rocklea stations are fully accessible and open to customers.

- During construction there will be no pedestrian access to the footpath on the western side of Ipswich Road between Hamilton Road and the station entry. A pedestrian diversion is in place on the eastern side of Ipswich Road between Hamilton Road and Unwin Street.
- Pimpama is open to customers with all construction work complete
- Rocklea station is open to customers. Major construction at the station is complete, with some minor works ongoing.

- Work to modify footpaths, cycle infrastructure and landscaping in the Herschel Street work area will continue until mid-2026. Throughout construction, access will be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists between Herschel and Roma streets. You can read more and view the disruption’s map here.

- From late March for approximately four weeks a section of the eastbound lane on Roma Street between Countess and Garrick streets will be closed. Eastbound vehicle access will be maintained. Please refer to this works notice for more information.
- Access to Roma Street station will move 20 metres east (towards the city). Access to train platforms, busway platform 2 and the Coach Terminal will be via the new entrance. Access to busway platform 1 will remain in its current location.

- From late March for approximately four weeks a section of the eastbound footpath on Roma Street between Countess and Garrick streets will be closed. Eastbound vehicle access will be maintained. Please refer to this works notice for more information.
- From Wednesday 11 February 2026 for up to eight weeks, the temporary shared user path between George and Roma streets will temporarily close for construction. Pedestrians will be diverted via the signalised crossing at Makerston Street. You can read more and view the disruption’s map here.
- Throughout construction there will be temporary intermittent detours in place on Roma Street. Pedestrians are to follow the signs to safely navigate through the area.
- From late March for approximately four weeks a section of the eastbound footpath on Roma Street between Countess and Garrick streets will be closed. Eastbound vehicle access will be maintained. Please refer to this works notice for more information.
- From Wednesday 11 February 2026 for up to eight weeks, the temporary shared user path between George and Roma streets will temporarily close for construction. Cyclists will be diverted around the closure via the bicycle lane on George Street. You can read more and view the disruption’s map here.
- There are intermittent detours in place on Roma Street. Cyclists are to follow the signs to safely navigate through the area.
- Parking is available at Salisbury station on both sides of the rail corridor including the commuter car park on the corner of Lilian Avenue and Olivia Avenue as well as the Beaudesert Road / Lillian Avenue commuter carpark.
- Intermittent single lane closures on Fairlie Terrace, Lillian Avenue and Dollis Street for access to work areas. Traffic control and signage will be in place to direct motorists, pedestrians and cyclists around work areas.

- Intermittent traffic and pedestrian changes will continue on Main, Leopard and Stanley Streets, until mid 2026. These changes are part of the ongoing utility works for the new station.

- Access to Main Street is via footpaths from platform 1 and platform 2.
- Access to Main Street is via the footpath from platform 1 only.
- The footpath between platform 2 and Main Street is closed for Cross River Rail construction.
- The pedestrian overpass with lift and stair access is available at all times.
- Intermittent traffic and pedestrian changes will continue on Main, Leopard and Stanley Streets, until mid 2026. These changes are part of the ongoing utility works for the new station.
- There will be intermittent temporary changes to surrounding roads throughout the duration of construction.
- Yeerongpilly station is open to customers and is accessible from the Wilkie Street main station entry and Fairfield Road via the existing pedestrian overpass and lifts.
- Train services operate from the island platform (platforms 2 and 3) with the new third platform (platform 1) to open at a later date.
