Dutton Park station

The closest station to Cross River Rail’s southern tunnel entrance, Dutton Park station will benefit from platform and accessibility upgrades as well as a new pedestrian connection to Annerley Road.

Current status

Dutton Park station is now open.

Access is via stairs and lifts from the Annerley Road and Noble Street station entries.

Due to ongoing construction works north of Annerley Road, access via Kent Street will remain closed until works in that area of the station are completed.

Dutton Park Station location

The southern entrance into the Cross River Rail tunnel will be built in the area north of the Dutton Park Station. A new, independently accessible, covered pedestrian bridge to the station will be constructed south of Annerley Road.

Station Features

Features of the new Dutton Park station will include:

  • New station entry points on Noble Street, Kent Street and Annerley Road including shade canopies, seating, drinking fountains and accessible entry points and footpaths
  • Two new high level platforms for improved customer accessibility
  • An overpass providing connectivity between Noble Street and Annerley Road including one lift and a staircase to each platform
  • Station buildings including ticket office, staff facilities and a public accessible toilet
  • Platform canopies for weather protection, seating, bins and improved wayfinding signage
  • Integrated canopies for weather protection, seating, bins and improved wayfinding signage
  • Provision for Kent Street accessible parking and Kiss ‘n’ Ride facilities
  • Enclosed bicycle storage facilities and outdoor racks
