Woolloongabba Station

The new underground Woolloongabba station will provide passengers with high-frequency services, as well as improved access to The Gabba Stadium and Woolloongabba’s local entertainment district.

The 220-metre long station platform will sit approximately 27 metres below the surface, with multiple escalators and elevators to carry passengers from the platform to the concourse.

An estimated 18,000 people will use the new station each week day, by 2036.

Cross River Rail’s new station at Woolloongabba will be located less than 3 minutes from the new Albert Street underground station
