Cross River Rail will transform the way we travel to, from and through Brisbane in the future. It will be a catalyst for 10 years of wider rail transformation across the whole of South East Queensland and it is already playing a key role in how we prepare for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

What’s on Offer

The opportunity to gain real experience on Queensland’s biggest infrastructure project through the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority’s 12-week Summer Vacation Internship or our two-year Graduate Program.

Both initiatives will allow you to apply what you have been taught at university in a fast-paced and exciting workplace. You will learn from our leaders, who are experts in their fields, and work alongside professionals at varying stages in their careers.

The programs are specifically structured to help you gain skills and knowledge to set you up for success as you start your career.

You will be based in the Brisbane CBD, and will be able to take advantage of the Delivery Authority’s social program, including yoga classes, trivia competitions, running clubs and networking events.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for Summer Interns and Graduates from a range of disciplines, including:

  • Engineering: Electrical (Mechatronic), Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Architecture
  • Business: Commerce, Communication, Procurement, Human Resources, Business Management, Governance and Public Policy, Accounting
  • Environmental: Science, Management, Engineering, Sustainability, Sustainable Development
  • IT: Document Management / Systems Engineering

About You

We are looking for enthusiastic university students or recent graduates who are passionate about their field of study and are hungry to learn more. Ideally, applicants will:

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment;
  • Be punctual and organised;
  • Outline any previous work experience (although previous experience is not necessary);
  • Be keenly interested in our work and want to be part our success;
  • Be available to commit to the entire program (12 weeks or two years) ;
  • Have completed your 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of University or have recently graduated with a Bachelor, Post Graduate degree, or MBA.
