The new underground station at Woolloongabba is situated in the heart of a precinct undergoing major regeneration. Located between Vulture and Stanley streets, the new station and building will be a clear landmark within the heart of this major event precinct.

Woolloongabba station Construction Update - April to June 2026

At Woolloongabba station, precinct-wide works continue, with tiling in the station atrium and surrounding external areas nearing completion. Within the station building, internal fit-out activities and mechanical and electrical services installation are continuing. At Main, Leopard and Stanley streets, ongoing intermittent lane and footpath closures are in place while works continues to upgrade traffic signals, utility services and reconstruct footpaths.
