Night works - North Boondall station

Work along the Shorncliffe Line to deliver a new railway signalling system as part of the Cross River Rail Project is well-advanced

 

Details of work

The installation of signalling equipment, including the cutting of metal and drilling into concrete to affix cable housing, will be completed at North Boondall Station between 10pm and 5am each night from Sunday 11 December to Thursday 15 December 2022 (five nights).

What to expect if you live alongside the rail corridor

Please be advised, you may see and hear the use of a concrete hammer drill and concrete corer as well as personnel and work vehicles during this time.

Environmental controls such as temporary noise barriers will be put in place to minimise noise.

All staff will be fully briefed about their community responsibilities in relation to minimising noise and disruption after hours.
