Cross River Rail is a new 10.2-kilometre rail line. It includes 5.9 kilometres of twin tunnels from a southern portal near Dutton Park station under the Brisbane River and the Brisbane CBD.
The northern portal is where trains will enter and exit Cross River Rail’s twin tunnels and is located in the rail corridor at Normanby.
During October and November 2025, UNITY Alliance will continue works in the Normanby rail corridor, including minor excavation, earthworks, drainage, service installation, signalling testing and commissioning.
