Cross River Rail is much more than just a transport project, it is a city and region shaping investment that will trigger a wave of urban renewal opportunities.
The Cross River Rail Precinct Delivery Strategy will significantly revitalise key inner-city growth areas around the high-capacity stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street, Roma Street, and Exhibition helping Brisbane to continue to evolve as a world-class city.

Albert Street Station Precinct
The first station to be built in Brisbane’s CBD in over 120 years, the new underground station at Albert Street will dramatically improve connectivity to the southern end of the CBD as well as providing close access to Elizabeth Street and the Queen Street Mall.

The station will integrate with existing public transport infrastructure to form part of South East Queensland’s second busiest public transport interchange.
