Woolloongabba Site Construction

The area between Vulture Street and Stanley Street in Woolloongabba, directly adjacent to the Woolloongabba Busway, was the staging area for the Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) and Roadheaders. The TBMs tunneled north from Woolloongabba, breaking through into the station caverns at Albert Street and Roma Street, finally emerging at the northern portal.
