Outline Environmental Management Plan
The Cross River Rail Outline Environmental Management Plan (OEMP) provides the overarching framework for the project’s environmental management requirements.
It identifies each environmental element potentially impacted during the project works and nominates the required performance criteria and outcomes to be achieved to ensure environmental impacts are minimised. The OEMP also nominates key monitoring and reporting requirements to be delivered throughout the life of the project.
In accordance with Appendix 1, Part A, Condition 2 of the Coordinator-General’s change report, the OEMP is to be finalised and submitted to the Coordinator-General for approval two months prior to the commencement of Project Works. The OEMP was initially approved on 18 December 2018.
