Cross River Rail stations rising from the ground

Cross River Rail’s underground stations are rising from the ground as the installation of station canopies begins across the project.

Three massive roof modules have been lifted into place at Woolloongabba.

Check out the video below to see the first 130-tonne section being installed.

The sections are being lifted into place by a huge 800-tonne crawler crane, giving the best sense yet of how the station will look at ground level.
