RESCHEDULED: Utility investigation - Gibbon Street, Woolloongabba
Due to recent wet weather, utility investigation work on Gibbon Street has been rescheduled again and will now take place from 8am to 10am on Thursday 3 April. A short-term lane closure on Gibbon Street at the intersection with the Stanley Street service road will be in place during these works.
Traffic Changes
Traffic changes will involve:
- Access from Stanley Street onto Gibbon Street will be closed. Vehicles will be detoured via Hawthorne Street
- Access from Gibbon Street onto the Stanley Street service road will be maintained
- Access to properties, businesses footpaths and cycle lanes will be maintained.
Traffic control will be in place to assist motorists, pedestrians and cyclists.
After this activity has been completed, Gibbon Street will be reinstated to two-way traffic.
If work is unable to proceed due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, it will be rescheduled to the next available day.
