Shorncliffe Line night works - April 2022

Construction work is well advanced along the Shorncliffe Line to deliver Brisbane’s new railway signalling system as part of the Cross River Rail Project.

 

Details of work

Cable hauling and equipment testing will be undertaken between Shorncliffe and Boondall stations from 2.00am Friday, 15 April until 2.00am Tuesday, 19 April (continuous works) and between 10.00pm and 4.00am each night from Tuesday, 19 April to Friday, 22 April.
 

What to expect

Please be advised, you may see and hear the movement of personnel and work vehicles and mobile lighting, and the use of a winch for cable hauling.

What to expect if you live alongside the rail corridor

Residents along the rail corridor may hear noise associated with the use of machinery and equipment, and see mobile lighting towers in work areas during night works.
