Installation of signalling infrastructure - Stephens Road

A new digital signalling system is being progressively installed to key parts of the South East Queensland (SEQ) rail network, including in the Cross River Rail tunnels and the area south to Moorooka station.

Details of work

Between 6.00am and 6.00pm on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November, new signalling equipment will be installed in and around the Stephens Road railway tunnel at South Brisbane.

What to expect

Residents may see, feel or hear:

  • Noise from drilling or vibration from hammering
  • Personnel and work vehicles accessing and working in the rail corridor close to your residence.
