Roma Street Station Enhancements - Lighting installation, Platforms 8 and 9

From Sunday 15 June for approximately two weeks, lighting installation work will be carried out on platforms 8 and 9. Work will take place between 9am and 3pm each day.

Designated work areas will be established within each of the platform stairwells and on platforms. During this time, the access to the platforms will be maintained via both the stairs and lifts.

What to expect

Lighting work will involve installing electrical components, transporting equipment and materials, and using hand tools.

You may notice increased noise, lighting and worker presence on the platforms.

Works are scheduled during off-peak periods to minimise commuter disruption and are subject to weather and site conditions. If delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, works will be rescheduled at the next available opportunity.
