Albert Street night-time footpath closures - April 2025

From Monday 14 April for up to one week, the footpath in front of the northern station entrance (Lot 3) will be closed nightly between 6:30pm and 6:30am. These closures are required to carry out painting of the station’s canopy roof.

Work Details

Work will involve:

  • Implementing traffic control arrangements to establish a safe work area and pedestrian detour.
  • Use of machinery and equipment including paint sprayer, generators, lighting units, elevated work platforms (EWP), and hand tools to paint the station’s canopy.

Work will be undertaken between 6:30pm and 6:30am and is expected to take up to one week to complete. Work is subject to relevant approvals and suitable weather conditions. In the event of wet weather, work will be undertaken on the next available day. Work will be carried out at night to minimise the impact on local businesses in this high foot traffic area.
