Transforming travel - Boggo Road

The new Boggo Road station is at the centre of one of Queensland’s most significant health, science, knowledge, and technology precincts and will be a key part of a connected transport hub integrating with Brisbane Metro, the existing above-ground Park Road train station and Boggo Road busway station.

The station will also link students and staff to the new Inner City South State Secondary College and benefit local residents with high-frequency connections to new Woolloongabba and CBD stations.

The new underground Boggo Road station will be less than 3 minutes travel time through the tunnel to Woolloongabba.

The 220-metre-long station platform will set approximately 19 metres below the surface, with escalators and elevators to carry passengers from the underground platform to the concourse.

Boggo Road will become South East Queensland’s second busiest transport interchange, with almost 23,000 commuters expected to use the new station each weekday by 2036.
