Salisbury station work areas and traffic changes

We appreciate your patience during construction and will continue to update you as work progresses.
What to expect
During these works you may notice some intermittent disruptions such as:
- Intermittent single lane closures on Fairlie Terrace, Lillian Avenue and Dollis Street for access to work areas. Traffic control and signage will be in place to direct motorists, pedestrians and cyclists around work areas
- Trucks and machinery including concrete trucks and pumps, loaders, excavators with rock breakers, vacuum trucks, mobile cranes, small power tools, minor vibrating equipment and mobile lighting towers to light work areas at night
- Changes around your local area such as increased construction vehicles, traffic management signs and personnel
- Increased levels of noise, vibration and dust associated with the use of heavy machinery and equipment.
Changes to the way you travel
Due to protected industrial action over the Easter long weekend, the scheduled track closures have been extended
until Thursday 30 April (an extra four days). This extension will allow critical works on multiple major rail projects to be
undertaken safely and efficiently.
