Project Update

Cross River Rail is more than just a rail project. By constructing four new underground stations through the middle of Brisbane, Cross River Rail provides a unique opportunity to enrich and invigorate the area around each of the station locations.

And that enrichment has already begun with a series of art installations designed to transform the pedestrian walkways around our Albert Street work site, commissioned as part of the Brisbane Street Art Festival. A festival dedicated to showcasing the vibrant and diverse art of Brisbane’s very best street artists.

The installation of ten striking artworks will not only brighten the hoardings surrounding the Albert Street work site, they will also be a welcome sight for the residents and city workers who use the Albert St walkways daily.
