Project Update

The role that Cross River Rail will play in our economic recovery post COVID-19 as well as the long term benefits of the project for residents across the whole of South East Queensland has been the subject of a week-long ‘Future SEQ’ feature running in the Sunday Mail and The Courier-Mail from Sunday 24 to Saturday 30 May 2020.

Articles each day covered a wide variety of topics including why we are building Cross River Rail, what the benefits will be and how far construction has progressed. There were also features on the future technology Cross River Rail will use, the urban renewal that the project will stimulate and even the history and back story for some of our new station sites.
