Track closures - December 2024 and January 2025

From Saturday 21 December 2024 to Sunday 19 January 2025, there will be track closures and travel changes across all train lines to undertake crucial Cross River Rail works.

All lines will be impacted by track closures and major timetable changes at various stages throughout this period. Some express train services will not run.

Please consider your transport options, allow extra travel time and plan ahead to find your best travel option.

    • There will be plenty of buses at Northgate station to continue your journey including express and all stop services.
    • Shorncliffe line trains will run between Shorncliffe and Northgate station
    • There will be plenty of buses at Northgate station to continue your journey including express and all stop services.
    • Redcliffe line trains will run between Kippa-Ring and Northgate stations
    • There will be plenty of buses at Northgate station to continue your journey including express and all stop services.
    • Doomben line trains will run between Doomben and Eagle Junction station
    • There will be plenty of buses at Eagle Junction station to continue your journey including express and all stop services.
    • There will be no trains running on the Ferny Grove line
    • All stop railbuses will replace trains between Ferny Grove and Roma Street stations.
    • Cleveland line trains will run between Cleveland and Cannon Hill stations
    • There will be plenty of buses at Cannon Hill station to continue your journey including express and all stop services
