At the core of our transport network, a single bridge that can accommodate 24 trains an hour is already taking 21, causing congestion on our roads as well as rail. Cross River Rail will combine with new busways and new roads to create a ‘turn-up-and-go’ transport network that benefits all South East Queensland.

Cross River Rail will also create five new high capacity stations at inner-city locations, providing direct access to more places of work, study and recreation for all of us
